O’Day’s commitment to keeping our employees and our community healthy, while also supporting each of you, remains a top priority as we monitor the developments of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). As this unfolds, we will continue to monitor the guidelines set forth by the CDC and governmental task force. We have discussed the proper hygiene methods best suited to control the spread of the virus with our employees. Our main priority remains the well-being of them, their families, our customers, and the community.
The current best practice of good hygiene habits is being continually echoed through our facilities:
- Frequent hand washing
- Avoid touching the face, eyes, nose, and mouth
- Cover the mouth with a tissue or inner elbow when coughing or sneezing
- If employees feel sick, show any COVID-19 symptoms, they are told to stay home
The Current Status:
Our supply chain remains intact and our distribution centers are fully operational. We keep in contact with our strategic suppliers and our inbound supply chain is also intact, inventory is in route and locker supplies are being replenished. Cart manufacturing also remains intact.
We have stopped business sales travel and prefer virtual meetings and phone appointments for the short term. Ordering and service-related issues will be most efficient if submitted by emailing Sales@ODay.com as the office is capable of working remote.
What can you do (Help us help you)?
If you learn of companies cancelling pending orders due to COVID-19 related issues, please contact us so we can pull the delivery prior loading and dispatch. O’Day’s will find a way to work through this with you and hold that order until needed. This is of highest importance for any LTL shipment to avoid accessorial charges for detention, missed delivery, or return freight.
Stay safe and be well!
